‘UAE Women Board Directors’
About
In 2013, the ‘UAE Women Board Directors’ report was published to identify policy barriers restricting participation of women at senior executive levels. It seeks to develop a communication strategy aimed at increasing awareness on gender diversity in local and regional boardrooms.
Objective
- To identify challenges faced by women directors in the UAE, support mechanisms in their careers up to director level as well as their integration into the boardroom.
- To ascertain senior women’s views on possible solutions for wider discussion through face to face interviews with 16 highly educated executive board level women.
